Training, commissioning, assigning and supporting missionaries in the United States and around the world has been at the heart of Methodism since the founding of the first denominational Methodist missionary society in 1819.

Good health for people of all ages is essential for the well-being of communities. When children are well, they can go to school. When teachers are in good health, they can teach. When doctors are fit, they can heal, educate and prevent illness. However, vulnerable communities around the world need essential health assistance so their communities can flourish.
