Richmond, VA (November 10, 2019)
Without missing a beat, Danny Gokey performed in spite of incurring 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his feet shortly before show time in Richmond, Virginia November 10, 2019.   A wardrobe steamer reservoir tipped over, scalding both of his feet, but he was able to get medical attention quickly and took the stage with little delay.  He was able to sing many fan favorites seated with his feet wrapped. By the end of the concert he made a comeback and performed briefly while standing up and commenting, “Hey, that felt pretty good.”
